The area request is an add-on to the Classic High School program. Your area request will be approved if we have spots available in your area of choice and meet application requirements, prior to the deadline. Apply on time – first come, first served!

You can request your preferred area in the UK If you already know which region you want to live in. With this choice, you can make a request to study in North England, Southern England or Midlands England. Limited spots apply, and there is an additional fee for this option.
The North of England is home to some of the UK’s most stunning countryside. Beyond the countryside, the vibrant cities of Northern England are where you’ll find some of the country’s most famous football clubs, and once known for their industrial heritage; these are now renowned for their culture, shopping and its wide range of student events.
Some of the most famous cities in Northern England are Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Leeds, Sheffield, and York. As an exchange student, you will meet international students from every corner of the world.

Birmingham is great for students who want to combine city life with fun outdoor activities. Other cities in the Midlands include Coventry, Wolverhampton, Leicester, Stoke-n-Trent and Lincoln.
The Midlands is also famous for its outstanding natural beauty. Here you’ll find Grat Britain’s oldest national park, Peak District, which covers an area of 1,438 km². In the park, you’ll stumble upon canals, secret caves (the deepest is over 400 meters below the ground), natural springs and woodlands.
