You can choose where you want to spend your exchange program in Ireland with Southern Cross Cultural Exchange.

When applying for a Classic High School exchange program, you are guaranteed your area choice if there are spots available and if you meet application eligibility requirements, and prior to program deadlines.

Region Choice – request your preferred county

If you already know which county in Ireland you want to live in, you can choose through our Region Choice.

With this option, you can choose whether you want to study in Cork or Dublin.

Cork

Cork is Ireland’s largest county, home to the popular city of Cork. Located in the south, you will experience an exchange program among charming small towns, castles, as well as Ireland’s largest coastline.

Dublin

Dublin County is the third smallest of Ireland’s 32 counties by area, and the largest in terms of population. The county is located on the eastern coast of Ireland with an Irish Sea coastline which stretches for about 100 km. It is home to the country’s charming capital, Dublin City, with cool winters and mild humid summers.

For those who enjoy the life among people, shops, and cafés, you have the possibility to add our Town Life option.

Town Life

If you are keen to experience Ireland in a town or city, you can add this option to your application. This is a guarantee that you will not be placed on the countryside, but in an urban community somewhere in Ireland.
