This may be Maori Language, Agriculture Studies or Outdoor Education.<\/p>\n In New Zealand high schools, there are often different sports and activities available. Many schools have sports teams including rugby, lacrosse, swimming, basketball, golf, and hockey. The activities are often arranged after school hours, by teachers and parents.<\/p>\n New Zealand schools often have keen sense of high school spirit with of events, gatherings, and excursions to participate in. This is fun for all students, but also a great way to get involved in the school community.<\/p>\n Enquire now<\/a>\n <\/div>\n Turquoise waters, snowy mountains, spectacular volcanos, and green landscapes. How you spend your spare time will really depend on where you are placed in New Zealand. Your host family placement could be on either the North or South Island, and the activities available may differ when it comes to climate and landscape.
