Adventures and surprises are part of the high school exchange experience. But for some students, an exchange is also an opportunity to focus on a particular subject, play their favorite sport or live in a warm place. If that’s your kind of exchange, then our Academic Exchange program could be right for you.

Like our Select Program, the Academic Exchange program offers the flexibility and relatively greater ease of coming to the US under an F-1 visa – the most common visa status for exchange students in the US. But there are two key differences: with an Academic Exchange, you can’t choose a specific school. And you pay significantly less than you would with the Select Program.

Academic Exchange is for students who want to:

Live in an American host family
Study at a school that offers a particular subject, sport or program of interest
Know early where they will be studying
Pursue an academic pathway

Every school in our Academic Exchange program delivers a high level of education, supported by modern facilities. We work only with schools that have 150 students or more to ensure you have access to a wide range of academic, extracurricular, social and cultural activities.
