Language Prep course in Italy

Prepare for your immersion on exchange

To make you are as prepared as possible for your exchange program in Italy, we offer a two-week language course in Italian in the beautiful city of Milan. The language course is organised before the Soft Landing Camp in the same city.

We recommend everyone who needs some preparation in Italian to attend the course to get the best start possible to the exchange adventure. This is an optional extra, and incurs an additional fee.

About the language course

The course takes place at a quality private language school in the centre of Milan. You will attend school from 10–13.15 weekdays. Each class is 45 minutes long (40 classes). You will go through the grammar and vocabulary basics, learn useful expressions, and participate in conversations and games with your classmates. Qualified teachers will introduce the students to the world of the Italian language and culture. The students will learn to introduce themselves, talk about their families, order food and beverages, exchange information and express their preferences. Each lesson will take you one step closer to achieving your goals: to feel more confident and to communicate better in Italian.

During their time in Milan, students will be accommodated with a local host family and will receive half board every day (breakfast and dinner). Students will be able to buy their own lunch after class while exploring the city.
